The internationally recognized IAF member organization, the United Accreditation Foundation (UAF), confirmed the compliance of the operations of “Ajapnyak” Medical Center with the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management international standard after a rigorous audit conducted over a 3-year period.
It is noteworthy that “Ajapnyak” Medical Center is one of the few organizations in Armenia that has been certified in compliance with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard across all types of activities (surgery, therapy, diagnostics, laboratory, oncology, polyclinic, etc.).
The ISO 9001:2015 standard places particular emphasis on the quality of service and treatment, which involves comprehensive control of safe and competent medical assistance. It also highlights the adoption and development of a new work culture based on international standards and evidence-based medicine principles.
The presented requirements are of particular importance at “Ajapnyak” Medical Center, where modern management systems have been implemented for guideline-based work, as well as policies and processes for patient care, service, teamwork, decision-making, multi-level governance, and the adoption of next-generation management practices, among others.
