Surgery department

Department Info

In “Ajapnyak” Medical Center the Department of Surgery concludes 24 surgeons in different specializations, CCU doctors and anaesthesiologists. The skilled specialists of Armenia have gathered in our Medical Center in order to perform various and complex surgical interventions daily, the majority of which are performed by using minimally invasive technologies. As a main advantage of the high-tech surgeries is to reduce intraoperative complication reates, reduce the hospital stays and insure fast recovery. Modern approaches to hospital quality control are strictly observed in the center, cleanliness in the entire Medical Center is a main focus, as well as the high quality of patient service, which is maintained, regardless of whether the patient receives the treatment by state order or paid, regardless of whether the patient is from Armenia or a foreign citizen.

The surgical activities of the Center are personally coordinated by a famous surgeon, founder, director of the Center, candidate of medical sciences, member of the German Surgical Society, G. A. Manukyan. All examinations and surgeries of patients are carried out under the supervision of Dr. Manukyan, and the most complex abdominal interventions are performed directly by Dr. Manukyan. The center performs the most complex surgeries that require exceptional skills and the use of technological devices.

In the surgical department, the patient receives food, hygiene items, around the clock care and attention.  In the center the service is also provided in foreign languages, as many foreign patients visit here for treatment.
